The Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City was the host of the 16thannual New York Pet Fashion Show. The benefit of the annual Pet Fashion Show is an animal rescue benefit. This year was a “Masquerade Ball for Animal Rescue” with a royal theme with Meghan Barkle (Chihuahua) and Prince Harry of Tails (black and tan Chihuahua) for a “Royal Pup-tial Wedding.”
Effie represented for the first time all handicapped dogs. Effie a Pit Bull was featured in a wheelchair. The New York Pet Fashion Show raises money for the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals. The pet fashion and animal rescue show is the largest in the country. 30 International Designers took the red carpet for human and pet fashions. Gregg Oehler was Chairman of the event, MC and Celebrity Pet Expert Harrison Forbes and Susan Richard served as one of the Best in Show Judges.
